To install the mount on your car's vent, start by attaching the fastener to the ball joint. Then, pass the fastener through the vent's blade and tighten it. After that, attach the connector to the ball joint and adjust the position as needed. Next, loosen the clip and slide the mount onto the connector until it clicks into place. Finally, place your phone on the mount and adjust the position as needed. That's it! Your mount is now securely installed and ready to use.

I had an "el cheapo" vent phone holder that actually worked well, it just didn't put the phone as high as I wished and had a habit of flopping over when you hit a big bump.
